October 03, 2005 - Hosted by our local distributors in Brazil and Argentina, BCI participated at the Broadcast & Cable Show in Brazil in September, and Caper 2005 Show (broadcast, cable, cine & multimedia) in Argentina in October. It was BCI s 5th year of participating at the shows together with our sales representative, Inviso from Miami Florida.

BCI introduced the new BCIView system, which is a web browser based network monitoring system. With this system, users can log into the BCIView at any place and at any time to monitor, configure and /or manage fiber optic audio/video/data transmission chassises with a variety of I/O cards, such as short- haul analog video and audio, digital SDI/HDTV video, professional AES/EBU audio, Ethernet, RS232/422, and many other products.

4700 Series, RGBHV/YUV+STEREO AUDIO+KEYBOARD+MOUSE

In keeping with our company motto, Doing more with 1 fiber plus , BCI is proud to give advance notice of it s upcoming and affordable, 4700 series. This new series will provide fiber optic transport for high resolution RGBHV/YUV (up to 1280 X 1024 UXGA Resolution) over a single fiber! Additionally, AKM models support keyboard, mouse and stereo audio transmission. Since the 4700 series design is TDM based, pricing will be extremely competitive over existing CWDM based designs in the current marketplace. Key features include user selectable RGBHV or YUV inputs, optical auto gain control for true plug n play operation and auto sync detect for ease of use. As with other BCI products, both MMF and SMF versions will be available. Stand alone units and card cage version options will also be provided. Production release is scheduled for Jan. 1, 2006.
