November 10, 2006 - Although delayed by the World Cup Soccer Game, and presidential election in Mexico, BCI recently participated in the Telemundo Show 2006, Cine Video and Television Equipment tradeshow held at the World Trade Center in Mexico City from August 8th to the 11th.

BCI participated for the first time, together with Inviso, and our local distributor Excelencia, a distinguished local dealer handling over 27 product lines, including Avid, Miranda, FORA and BCI products. Ing. Rafael Sanchez, a senior sales staff member for Excelencia has been assigned to promote BCI products in Mexico.

BCI presented the newly released model 230i, audio/video/data over IP network transmission system. It was designed for remote multimedia studio, distance learning, audio/video/data conferencing and media retrieval and distribution applications.
Many visitors were also interested in our model 1600, a multi channel fiber optic SDI transmission system. It offers up to 4 channels of SDI over one fiber with TDM technology. It can be expended to deliver 8 to 64 SDI channels over one fiber with WDM or CWDM.
“It was a very busy show,” said Jason Chian, International Sales Manager, “we are looking forward to coming back next year.”
